Jim Ferry and his staff attempted to simulate George Washington's distinct height advantage all week in practice with long pads and hazards in front of the rim. But when it came time to execute, it was the open advantages at the bucket that caused Duquesne the most trouble.

"I was just disappointed with the way we attacked the rim. We were pumping around the rim and faking. Just attack it. We’re grown men," Ferry said in the wake of a 77-70 loss for his Dukes to the Colonials at the A.J. Palumbo Center Sunday afternoon.
