The Robert Morris women's basketball team is once again headed to the NCAA Tournament. The Colonials claimed their third Northeast Conference postseason championship in four seasons with a 65-52 defeat of Bryant on Sunday afternoon in the final event in the 32-year history of the Charles L. Sewall Center.

Senior guard Anna Niki Stamolamprou led the Colonials (22-10) with 23 points and nine rebounds. The NEC player of the year never touched the bench as Robert Morris followed up its regular-season crown with its seventh postseason title all time.

Rebeca Navarro scored 12 points and Megan Smith added 11 to go with a team-high six assists. This is the first title for coach Charlie Buscaglia, who took over for his father Sal after his retirement last March.
