Now that Dave Harper and Duquesne are set to "make a change in leadership" with the program that should serve as the Dukes' breadwinner, Harper will set out to find the right fit.

"Duquesne's goal is to be a highly-valued member of the Atlantic 10 Conference," Harper said in the school's news release when he fired Jim Ferry Monday after a 67-90 record in five seasons at Duquesne. "Success in men's basketball is paramount to that strategy. Starting today, we will begin a national search. Until the process is complete, we will not comment further on any aspect of the search."

The search, Duquesne announced, will be headed up by Eastman & Beaudine and "begin immediately."
