The Penguins recognized Jaromir Jagr during the first period of their 4-0 shutout of the Panthers on Sunday afternoon with a video honoring his recent achievement of being named to the NHL's list of 100 greatest players.
It turned out to be much more than a momentary tribute:
... and speaking so much more with that on-ice gesture than anything he could have said afterward when, surrounded by media in the visitors' locker room, he called the tribute "pretty nice" while stressing that he was more focused on the game's playoff implications for Florida:
