This summer the Steelers will play preseason games against the Giants, Falcons, Colts and Panthers, the league announced Monday evening.
While dates have yet to be set, Weeks 2 and 3 -- against Atlanta and Indianapolis -- will be at Heinz Field. The Steelers will travel to play the Giants and the Panthers in Weeks 1 and 4. It marks the second straight year that the Steelers travel to Carolina after the Panthers made back-to-back trips to Heinz Field due to scheduling conflicts at Bank of America Stadium. It will also be the 15th straight preseason that the Steelers will play the Panthers.
All four games will be broadcast on KDKA. Times and dates haven't been announced yet.
The NFL's preseason kicks off Aug. 3 with the Hall of Fame game in Canton, Ohio between the Cowboys and the Cardinals. The NFL has already announced eight nationally-televised games, but none involved the Steelers.
