COLUMBUS, Ohio — For those about to rock sweep!

Don't get me wrong, I'm not teasing Columbus for the Blue Jackets' use of awesome music to hype the crowd — it's fantastic. The team from Ohio is just ... simply ... about to be swept.

If there is a sweep though, it will be a shame for the game of hockey, although most people reading this care much more about what the team in black and gold is able to produce for themselves. The atmosphere today, oh the atmosphere. I've never seen anything like it in hockey, not first hand at least, and I selfishly would like it to continue.

There is a pure sense of enjoyment, of energy, of unity and, well, of rock and roll at Nationwide Arena. A shame indeed should this series end Tuesday in Ohio or Thursday in Pittsburgh, because I will miss an entire arena standing on their feet, singing, cheering and making hockey a better game.

Enough about my selfish look at playoff hockey though, grab your brooms and take a look back at Game 3 with me by way of the photograph:
