NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- This wasn't planned, I swear. But boy, was it worth it.

Reporters are permitted on the ice after the Stanley Cup champions take their team photo. And just as an NHL official gave us the OK to proceed, I turned on my iPhone video and let it run, hoping to show you just a glimpse of what goes on out there. The moment I'd need to engage in more serious journalism, of course, I'd have to stop.

Well, so much for serious journalism.



I wound up leaving on the camera for 12 minutes, interviewing a host of individuals from the Penguins, present and past, and just generally capturing the mood better than any words I could have written:
