UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- Penn State is adding a throwback element to the Nittany Lions' home game on Sept. 30 against Indiana and the uniform will include many new wrinkles on some old staples.
James Franklin's team will sport retro uniforms as part of the team's Generations of Greatness celebration that will take place the day of the game. While special in-game promotions ranging from old-school music to different looks on the video boards will take fans back to the Penn State teams of old, the Lions' uniforms will also incorporate elements of the team's previous uniforms.
