STATE COLLEGE, Pa. -- Looking to get you hands on a ticket for this year's Pitt-Penn State game in Beaver Stadium? Well, it won't be easy to come by.

Penn State announced Wednesday afternoon that their single game football tickets will go on sale on July 11, and will again include variable pricing, but single game tickets for the Lions' Sept. 9 clash against Pitt and Penn State's Oct. 21 White Out with Michigan will not be available through single-game sales.

Nittany Lion Club members -- plus Penn State's season ticket holders, which include at least 8,000 new season ticket holders for the upcoming season --  will have their tickets for the two marquee matchups and a limited amount of tickets remain for these games but they are only available to season ticket holders.

Penn State's boost in season ticket holders is one area where last season's Big Ten title and Rose Bowl game continues paying dividends for the program.

"If you look at our revenue model season ticket sales, which guarantees us there’s no ebb and flow from game-to-game that money comes in and those resources come in at the beginning of the season, that provides some consistency and stability to our financial model and how we are able to afford those conditions for success for our student athletes," athletic director Sandy Barbour said this spring during the coaches caravan. "Other than let’s say Big Ten revenue it’s our single largest source of revenue."

Penn State's season tickets for students, which remained at $218 and includes all seven home games, concludes with the freshman class sale Thursday morning. The graduate student, senior class, junior class and sophomore class all sold out their ticket allotments earlier this week.

So, with variable pricing in play what are ticket prices looking like for next season? Per a Nittany Lion Club graphic prices for their seats range from $30-$85 for Akron, $95-$120 for Pitt, $30-$85 for Georgia State, $50-$115 for Indiana, $90-$120 for Michigan, $50-$115 for Rutgers and $50-$115 for Nebraska.

Penn State's price chart has yet to be updated on their website.

On the secondary market, tickets on StubHub for Pitt-Penn State have the lowest listing at $147, which is for a seat in the upper level corner. For Michigan-Penn State the cheapest ticket thus far on StubHub is $131.150 and that's for a seat in the corner of the upper level.
