Start time set for Nittany Lions' home game against Indiana

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. -- Penn State's in the midst of a stretch featuring back-to-back night games, but that won't turn into three straight.

Penn State's home game against Indiana on Sept. 30 is set to kick at 3:30 p.m., the Big Ten Network announced Monday.  The Nittany Lions sold 102, 746 tickets for this past weekend's 7:30 p.m. start against Georgia State and while it was a lively crowd -- especially given the opponent -- Penn State still needs a confirmed start time for the Oct. 21 clash against Michigan.



That one is the official White Out game and given how both teams are playing that Michigan game certainly could be a prime candidate for a night start, potentially even a destination for ESPN's College GameDay. With the Indiana start time locked it it leaves the Michigan game, Michigan State game (Nov. 4) and games against Nebraska (Nov. 18) and Maryland (Nov. 25) as the remaining ones without a known start time.

Lots of eyes will be on Penn State's road game at Ohio State on Oct. 28, with that one long locked in for a 3:30 p.m. kick thanks to FOX also owning the rights to the World Series.
