There isn't much mathematical difference between playing four snaps in a football game and playing zero, but there sure is in terms of pride.
I get what Mike Tomlin's thinking. I do. He doesn't have to spell Jarvis Jones out there anymore. He's getting meaningful contributions from T.J. Watt, Bud Dupree and Anthony Chickillo, and he owes no one an apology or explanation for the Steelers going with their most productive outside linebackers.
Not to any of us. Not to Arthur Moats. And no, not even to James Harrison.
That's football. That was football in 2006, when Clark Haggans was felled by injury, and Harrison grabbed Haggans' starting spot by the throat. And that's football now that Harrison's been reduced from those four snaps in Cleveland to complete bystander against the Vikings.
