As USL expands, Hounds to increase capacity at Highmark Stadium

With the Riverhounds being eliminated from playoff contention with two weeks remaining in the season, and while they will still be focused on finishing strong with two home games remaining, some of our attention will be diverted to see how the organization evolves off-field with the ever-changing landscape of pro soccer in the United States, particularly in light of additional developments this week.

"We're obviously disappointed," said Kevin Johnston, general manager of Highmark Stadium and the Riverhounds, on this year's results. "Still, things are heading in the right direction for us, as a franchise, and even though we're juggling a lot of things."

To keep up with constant change, the Hounds are going to have to continue to adapt.
