RICHMOND, Va. -- It’s sometimes hard to remember, especially for young whippersnappers like myself, that the Steelers already had almost four decades as an NFL franchise under their belts before Chuck Noll was hired as head coach.
I suppose you can chalk that up to 36 years of the "Same Old Steelers." Still, bleak as all those woebegone seasons may have been, they still hold a few significant records and performances that the Killer Bs, Blitzburgh and the Steel Curtain have yet to match.
Harder still to believe…the Cleveland Browns once won NFL Championships with regularity!
