The Pirates announced their 2018 home spring training schedule Monday, including the opener at LECOM Park against the Yankees on Feb. 24.
The 16-game home schedule in Bradenton, Fla., will end on March 26 against the Phillies, and includes games against the Red Sox, Tigers, Braves, Orioles, Twins and Rays, among others.
Season tickets, group tickets and weekend packages will go on sale Nov. 28, and individual game tickets will be available beginning Jan. 20. The Pirates are celebrating their 50th season playing in Bradenton, a relationship that began in 1969.
They went 19-12-2 last spring while tying the club record for wins, in addition to drawing a record 106,291 fans to 17 spring training home dates at LECOM Park.
The entire home schedule begins against the Yankees, followed by games against the Red Sox (Feb. 26), Blue Jays (March 1), Phillies (March 3), Tigers (March 8), Braves (March 10), Orioles (March 12), Rays (March 14), Braves (March 16), Twins (March 17), Red Sox (March 18), Twins (March 19), Blue Jays (March 22), Phillies (March 23), Rays (March 24) and Phillies (March 26).
Every game is a 1:05 p.m. start except for the March 22 split squad game against the Blue Jays, which will begin at 6:05 p.m.
