Looking ahead to the session …

• What: Steelers practice

• When: 10:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

• Where: Rooney Sports Complex

• Media availability: 12:30-1:15 p.m.

2:30: The Steelers listed Roethlisberger and Pouncey as full participants at practice Friday, along with Heyward.

Only Bell was listed as out, though he is uninjured.

Antonio Brown has already been declared out with a calf injury.

Coty Sensabaugh and Ramon Foster were both full participants.

If I were a betting man, I would bet that Roethlisberger and Heyward don't play, either.

1:04 p.m.: The Steelers might want to put their scout team center in the starting lineup come playoff time. That guy looks good.

Maurkice Pouncey confirmed to me that he took scout team reps on Friday, making it unlikely he will play Sunday against the Cleveland Browns.

I asked Pouncey when the last time he had worked off the cards that contain the upcoming opponent's plays that the offensive coaches show the scout team before each play.

"Never, but I repped the hell out of it," Pouncey told me.

So add Pouncey to the group that includes Le'Veon Bell, Ben Roethlisberger and Cameron Heyward of the healthy players who are likely to sit out the Steelers' regular season finale.

1:00: Houston's Jadaveon Clowney was fined $8,500 for his facemask penalty last Monday against Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger. Clowney also drew a 15-yard penalty on the play.

THE SETUP

Reminder: We can’t report what we see in NFL practices, per league guidelines. So we’ll always just use this space for any allowable updates, as well as a quick repository for news after the practice and media availability.

It's Friday, so the final injury report will be made available by the team today. I'll put any immediate news of note here on this live file, then I’ll have full coverage later.
