2017 is ringing out in Pittsburgh the same way it rang in — by the Steelers defeating the Cleveland Browns at Heinz Field.

Not only did the Steelers start the 2017 season with a win over the Browns, they defeated them on New Year's Day to finish out last season's regular-season slate. The 0-16 Browns were the perfect bookend to the year and to the season. The Steelers started 1-0 by kicking things off in Cleveland, and they got to rest starters twice against them to prepare for a pair of playoff runs.

Like on January 1, 2017, things got a bit dicey for the home team. But, I suppose that's to be expected when you play your second and third choices in a lot of positions and the opponents go with their starters. Spoiler: the backups prevailed.

Up top is a shot of T.J. Watt getting the sack parade started by leaping out of the tunnel as he's announced. It's not quite the image I wish it was — that danged snow softened it up just a bit too much — but it's one of my favorites from the year and on its final day. Let's look at the rest:
