Looking ahead to the session …
• What: Steelers practice
• When: 10:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
• Where: Rooney Sports Complex
• Media availability: 12:30-1:15 p.m.
1:33: Antonio Brown was back at practice today and was a full participant.
While Brown wouldn't say he's 100 percent healthy, he did say, "It's the playoffs."
Several teammates said he looked great out there. Brown hasn't played since the second quarter of the New England loss Dec. 17 after suffering a calf injury.
I'll obviously have more on this later.
1:30: I spoke to Maurkice Pouncey after one of our readers alerted me that Pro Football Reference was listing him as questionable to play this weekend because of a hernia.
"Heck no," Pouncey told me. "Don't put that on me. I took all 42 reps today (with the first-team offense). I feel great.
Pouncey had been held out of practice of late and skipped the regular season finale against Cleveland. But that was because he was dealing with a hip issue.
THE SETUP
Reminder: We can’t report what we see in NFL practices, per league guidelines. So we’ll always just use this space for any allowable updates, as well as a quick repository for news after the practice and media availability.
It's Monday, so the Steelers will be back on the field for the first time since learning their playoff opponent will be Jacksonville. The big question today will be whether Antonio Brown is on the field. The team does not have to release an injury report until Wednesday.
Chris Bradford, Matt Sunday and DK will join me here today. I'll put any immediate news of note here on this live file, then I’ll have full coverage later.
