It's safe to say that Tuukka Rask isn't the most popular goaltender to visit Pittsburgh. His two shutouts against the Penguins in the 2013 Stanley Cup playoffs were the low point in the Sidney Crosby/Evgeni Malkin era of Pittsburgh hockey, and fans haven't forgotten.
The crowd at PPG Paints Arena had a little more life Sunday night, and the jeers rained down on 'Tuuuuu-kkkkaaa!' a bit more frequently than they do on most other visiting netminders. The problem with chirping Rask became that his team scored four unanswered goals, chasing Tristan Jarry from his cage.
The Penguins' response?
Well, it didn't make up for a missed trip to the 2013 Final, but the team showed much-needed resiliency and outlasted 2018's Rask to win, 6-5, in overtime.
