Jean-Sebastien Dea is headed back to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.
Friday afternoon, the Penguins reassigned the 23-year-old rookie forward to their AHL affiliate, this after playing four NHL games and scoring his first goal Tuesday against the Hurricanes. In the minors, he's had nine goals and 14 assists in 36 games.
There's no clear reason for the move, but the NHL is on its All-Star break, so Dea could just be getting some action since he can go back and forth between levels without having to clear waivers.
