BRADENTON, Fla. — There's just one day remaining on the spring training schedule for players to report 'early.' Elias Diaz was afforded some extra time after his mother was rescued from a kidnapping situation in Venezuela. That leaves Josh Harrison as the final piece of the starting puzzle to report after Gregory Polanco arrived at Pirate City today.

With Polanco, of course, comes a big smile, energy for the game and a lot of dancing around teammates to the music at Pirate City.

Given that I've had a chance to photograph everyone in Bradenton this week, and I've made a couple of passes as pitchers, catchers and generally everyone who has reported, I thought I'd pay a little extra attention to the Pirates' right fielder during his first day back to work.
