UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- Trace McSorley finally exited the game during the final series of the first half, an extended showing for the quarterback during a spring game.

Penn State defensive linemen were praised for their ability to keep the Nittany Lions' quarterback unscathed during his near-entire half of work.

That plan wasn't for McSorley to play as much as he did, but when Penn State's injury situation became more clear later in the week, it became their best option.
