The Steelers and James Washington took some time out from rookie camp to get the second-round draft pick under contract. Washington was signed to a four-year deal Saturday.
A wide receiver out of Oklahoma State, Washington is expected to help replace the production of Martavis Bryant, who was traded to Oakland on the opening day of the draft for a third-round draft pick.
Washington (5-11, 213) finished his career at Oklahoma State with 4,472 receiving yards, the second-most in Big 12 history.
Washington's signing leaves only first-round pick Terrell Edmunds and third-round selections Mason Rudolph and Chuks Okorafor unsigned among the team's draft class.
