Of all the Division I basketball programs in and around Pittsburgh, the one with the best chance to crack the top 25 next season isn't at Pitt, and it isn't a men's program. It's the Duquesne women, and they know it.

The Dukes are coming off a season where they went 25-8 and reached the quarterfinals of the Women's NIT before losing to St. John's, and with nearly the entire roster returning in 2018-19, the potential is there for this to be the program's best team yet.

Coach Dan Burt isn't shy talking about his team's potential, and he views it as both a challenge to the players and himself to take the program to greater heights in the upcoming season.
