Also continuing from the San Diego theme, I've got my own input.

It's hard to describe the bizarre topography of Dodger Stadium to someone who hasn't been here. The structure itself is perched on a very high hill overlooking downtown L.A., and yet it's dug into that same hill. So when you drive to the press parking lot, for example, you're actually entering at the tippy-top of the structure, nine stories high, then taking the elevator down.
