What's going on with Antonio Brown? taken in Latrobe, Pa. (Steelers)

LATROBE, Pa. -- Antonio Brown was back at Saint Vincent College Tuesday. That much we know. We saw him there working out.

Beyond that? Not a lot that Brown isn't sharing.

Brown ran some routes with the rest of the wide receivers Tuesday. Then, as the rest of the team began going through its final workout before Thursday's preseason opener at Philadelphia, Brown went to another field to begin working with a trainer.

But we do know Brown looked pretty normal running his routes.

If you can excuse my poor video work (really, I shot that as I normally would), you see that Brown doesn't seem to be favoring anything as he runs that route.

Brown spent at least half an hour pulling a heavy weight while running in a variety of ways. After he was done, he spent time talking with a trainer and could be overheard saying, "That hurt."

Brown then walked to a cart with a slight limp and made his exit from the field -- but not before signing a number of autographs.

Meanwhile, Mike Tomlin said he expects his star receiver back on the field on a full-time basis soon.

"He's getting closer to return in terms of his health, but he won't be playing in the game," Tomlin said before practice Tuesday. "(I) look forward to getting him back out there when we get back from Philadelphia."

That would suggest Brown might be ready to return Saturday when the Steelers return to Saint Vincent College. But, it also could mean sometime after that.

Brown has been out of practice since last Wednesday. After he watched practice from the sideline the first day he was out, signing autographs for fans on hand while practice was ongoing, Tomlin gave him permission to leave camp to rehab the injury away from the team.
