Neco Brett was the man on the scoresheet once again, but for the first time in possibly three weeks, the Riverhounds came away from a match celebrating a thorough team victory.

The Hounds controlled much of the game, save for an early second-half lull that allowed Chris Nanco to find the net for Bethlehem Steel, but Brett's goal in each half delivered a deserved 2-1 win for the Hounds late Sunday afternoon at Lehigh University's Goodman Stadium.

Coach Bob Lilley, who after a 1-0 win over last-place Toronto FC II lit into his team's decision-making and defensive responsibility, was much happier with the way the Hounds (12-3-7) handled business on the road in Eastern Pa. His team held 53 percent of possession, limited playoff-chasing Bethlehem (9-10-6) to four shots — all in the second half — and completed a fraction under 75 percent of their passes to dictate play for long stretches of the game.
