Giants place McCutchen on revocable waivers taken at Highmark Stadium (Pirates)

Andrew McCutchen scored the game-winning run in the 13th inning of the San Francisco Giants' 2-1 win over the New York Mets at Citi Field Monday night.

And, oh, that was after he was reportedly placed on revocable waivers.

According to Yahoo Sports, the Giants exposed the 31-year-old outfielder and there's a very strong chance he will be playing for another team by week's end. The Giants snapped a four-game losing skid against the Mets after being outscored 20-5 last weekend against last-place Cincinnati.

The 2013 NL MVP is slashing just .257/.354/.417 in his first season in San Francisco. The Pirates dealt their franchise player to the Giants on Jan. 15 in exchange for reliever Kyle Crick, minor-league outfielder Bryan Reynolds and international slot money.
