The Steelers will likely be without starting cornerback Joe Haden when they host the Kansas City Chiefs Sunday in their home opener.
They might also be without fellow starting corner Artie Burns.
Burns was added to the team's injury report on Friday with a toe injury and is listed as questionable to play against the Chiefs.
If Burns is unable to play, the Steelers would be without both starting cornerbacks against a Kansas City offense that posted 38 points in a victory against the Chargers last week behind four passing touchdowns by first-year starter Patrick Mahomes.
Cameron Sutton, who replaced Haden in Cleveland after he suffered a hamstring injury, and Coty Sensabaugh, who was inactive last week, would likely be the team's starting cornerback duo.
"We'll see Sunday," Sensabaugh told me when I asked him if he was going to play against the Chiefs.
The Chiefs have two of the speediest receivers in the league in Tyreek Hill and Sammy Watkins. Sensabaugh played with Watkins in college at Clemson.
"Definitely," Sensabaugh said. "They can fly."
