Talk about adding insult to injury to more insult.

Chris Conte, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers safety and recipient of the "Stiff-arm Heard 'Round the World," was placed on injured reserve after aggravating what ESPN's Adam Schefter says was an already torn PCL.

Presumably, he suffered the injury after he tried -- and failed miserably -- to tackle Vance McDonald in the first quarter on Monday night. The 6-foot-4, 267-pound McDonald gave the smaller Conte -- listed at 6-2, 203 --  two brutal jabs to the facemask en route to a 75-yard touchdown in the Steelers' 30-27 win:

Conte, an eighth-year pro, had started all three games for Tampa Bay this season, totaling 14 tackles.

Now, he'll live on in Internet meme history and, according to James Harrison, might have some explaining to do for, oh, a few decades to come:

"First thing I thought was what does he go tell his kids?" Harrison said on FS1's "Undisputed" on Tuesday. "You just had another grown man stiff-arm you like that; you have to go home and explain this to your wife or your girlfriend. ... I have to go see him after the game."
