The Cincinnati Bengals scored an impressive 37-36 come-from-behind win in the final seconds of Sunday's game against the Falcons in Atlanta.
With the Steelers and Ravens still to play later, the Bengals stand alone atop the AFC North at 3-1. But they did so at a horrific price.
Star-crossed tight end Tyler Eifert suffered a gruesome ankle injury after pulling in an Andy Dalton pass in the third quarter and had to be carted off the field in agony. He is reportedly to undergo surgery and will most likely be done for the season, if not longer. Here's a look at the play, but be advised it's not easy to watch:

Earlier in the game, Eifert had scored on a 15-yard touchdown in the first quarter. He finished with four receptions for 38 yards.
The former Notre Dame star was signed to a one-year, $5.5 million prove-it deal this offseason. Eifert's once-promising career has been marked by various injuries. In his six seasons, he's yet to play a full 16 game season and hasn't played in more than eight since 2015, when he was selected to the Pro Bowl.
Eifert had a message for his fans, via Twitter:
