Sunday’s Best: Perspective of lost hope

I imagine that I felt pretty similar to Ben Roethlisberger and Antonio Brown when No. 84 hauled in his touchdown catch. Not in the "I just threw/caught a touchdown" way, but more in the "yes, I've finally got something going for me" way.

For all of the ways the Steelers vs. Ravens games have been so personally rewarding (looking at you Christmas game / 'immaculate extension'), Sunday night's edition was everything but. At one point in the first half, I even texted to our Steelers coverage team an image along with "I have literally nothing."

But then Brown caught his touchdown, the Steelers converted the two point try and having nothing until then was suddenly, and thankfully, irrelevant. At the end of the day, the game got ugly again, and ugly football games produce pretty ugly sets of photos for the home team's faithful.

So, that's where this set starts — with AB hauling in his sign of hope which then quickly fades. The rest of the game follows.
