Jean Sebastien-Dea is back.

The Penguins have claimed Dea off waivers from the Devils, it was announced Thursday.

The Devils previously claimed Dea off waivers from the Penguins on Sept. 28, and placed Dea back on waivers Wednesday afternoon.

Because the Penguins lost Dea to waivers earlier in the season, Dea was able to be assigned directly to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.

Dea, 24, got off to a hot start with the Devils, scoring three goals in his first four games. He registered two assists in a win in Pittsburgh on Nov. 5, and has not recorded any points in the eight games since.

Dea played 262 games over four full seasons for Wilkes-Barre, amassing 66 goals and 75 assists. He ranks 10th all-time in games played for Wilkes-Barre, seventh in goals, 15th in assists, and eighth in points. Dea scored one goal in six career games with Pittsburgh.
