With a trip to the Sun Bowl booked after reaching the ACC Championship Game, the Pitt rushing game can take a fair bit of credit for making the reservation in El Paso, Texas.

This season has been a ground-and-pound showcase by the Panthers, led by seniors Qadree Ollison and Darrin Hall and a mostly senior offensive line. With a bowl game still to go, their season ranks among the best in the nation this year and the best in school history with a chance to add more.

The partnership of Ollison, who has 1,190 yards and 11 touchdowns, and Hall, who has 1,021 yards and nine scores, made history in the loss to Clemson. Hall reached the 1,000-yard plateau to make it the first Pitt backfield tandem to each eclipse the 1,000-yard rushing plateau in the same season.
