THE SETUP

It's the 186th renewal of the Backyard Brawl on the hardwood, and while West Virginia is an 11.5-point favorite, both teams have something to prove after sub-standard performances their last time on the court.

I'll be in Morgantown with coverage of the game, which Matt Welch previewed from the West Virginia camp. On the Pitt side, the Panthers have to be worried about more than just the Mountaineers' press, while Jeff Capel had some good things to say about Bob Huggins while talking about how they build relationships with their players.
