The Steelers exorcised the demon that has been the New England Patriots and kept their playoff hopes alive in the process.

Behind a strong rushing attack paced by rookie Jaylen Samuels and a strong defensive effort, the Steelers beat the Patriots, 17-10, Sunday at Heinz Field, snapping a three-game losing streak.

The victory improves the Steelers to 8-5-1, keeping them a half-game ahead of the Ravens (8-6), who beat Tampa Bay earlier in the day.
