We don't know how quickly Pitt's football players got up on Christmas Day to open their presents, but they were definitely up bright and early the day after Christmas.

The Panthers took off for to El Paso, Texas on Wednesday morning, kicking off nearly a week of activities and events leading up to facing Stanford in the Sun Bowl at 2 p.m. Dec. 31. The team touched down in the early afternoon, where they were greeted by breezy conditions outside and a mariachi performance inside the airplane hangar upon arrival.
