The Bengals (6-9) will enter their Week 17 showdown vs. the Steelers (8-6-1) shorthanded.
With starting quarterback Andy Dalton and star wide receiver A.J. Green already on injured reserve, the Bengals announced Friday that cornerback Dre Kirkpatrick, receiver Tyler Boyd, and linebacker Jordan Evans would join them on the sidelines.
In addition, linebacker Vontaze Burfict and defensive back Tony McRae have been ruled out for Sunday's contest, though they were not sent to IR.
On the Steelers' side, the situation is slightly better, although major questions still surround key starters Antonio Brown and Vince Williams.
The full injury report for Sunday's Bengals vs. Steelers game is as follows:
Bengals
Out: Tyler Boyd (WR, knee, placed on IR), Dre Kirkpatrick (CB, shoulder, placed on IR), Jordan Evans (LB, ankle, placed on IR), Vontaze Burfict (LB, concussion), Tony McRae (DB, hamstring)
Questionable: None
Full participation Friday: Darqueze Dennard (CB, wrist), Christian Ringo (DT, knee), Shawn Williams (S, pectoral)
Steelers
Out: None
Questionable: Antonio Brown (WR, knee), James Conner (RB, ankle/knee), Sean Davis (S, quad)
Doubtful: Vince Williams (LB, toe)
For the Steelers, Conner was a full participant in practice since Wednesday, pointing to a likely start for him against the Bengals. Davis, meanwhile, missed practice Wednesday and Thursday but returned in full Friday, another good sign for the Steelers.
Brown missed Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday practices, making him a true "questionable" call heading into Sunday. Nursing a knee injury, Brown is currently undergoing tests to determine his readiness.
“We’ll get the results of those tests and obviously have more information,” Mike Tomlin said Friday at the Rooney Complex. “He’s a veteran player. If it gets better, not a lot of physical repetitions are needed to perform. We’ll see where all of that goes.”
Williams suffered a toe injury in the Steelers' most recent loss, a 31-28 defeat against the Saints, and has not practiced all week. He is listed as doubtful and likely will not play Sunday.
