THE SETUP

Just thirteen days after Conor Sheary dealt the Penguins a disheartening 4-3 overtime loss, the Penguins return to Buffalo's KeyBank Center with a whole new outlook. Since that loss, the Penguins have gone 5-1 to move up the Eastern Conference standings. A win tonight would further their playoff credentials.

The Penguins are 0-2 against the Sabres this season, losing both games in overtime by a combined score of 9-7.

After a travel day on Wednesday, the Penguins will hold a full morning skate at KeyBank Center. Matt Sunday and I will have your coverage beginning with the Sabres' skate at 10:30 followed by the Penguins an hour later. We'll have your coverage throughout the night.
