So I invest the better part of my Wednesday evening winding through today's Grind, led by the Steelers' remaining needs, and I dig through all kinds of info regarding, of course, inside linebacker and wide receiver. Around the same time, Dale Lolley is working on his own analysis of free agency. A few minutes before midnight, both are done and set to publish atop the hour.
Then, at 12:04 a.m., the Steelers sign their receiver, Donte Moncrief.
You might have appreciated that move. We ... uh, we got right back to work.
But then, that's the beauty of being basically deadline-free here. We don't have printing presses or delivery trucks. We publish at all times. And in this case, we were able to offer two comprehensive pieces on Moncrief, with a snazzy statistical graphic to boot, on top of all our usual football coverage, not least of which is Christopher Carter's latest Classroom.
All our football coverage, as ever, can be found on our team page.
