Steelers to play Bucs, Chiefs, Titans, Panthers in preseason

The Steelers released their preseason schedule for the 2019 season on Tuesday and it has them at home the first two weeks before heading on the road to finish out the four-game schedule.

Friday, Aug. 9, the Steelers host Tampa Bay at 7:30 p.m. The game will be shown on KDKA-TV locally.

The following weekend, the Steelers will host Kansas City, Saturday, Aug. 17 at 7:30 p.m. That game also will be on KDKA-TV.

In Week 3, the Steelers travel to Nashville to play the Titans on Sunday, Aug. 25 at 8 p.m. That game will be featured on WPXI and NBC as the Sunday Night Football broadcast.

Finally, the Steelers will finish up their preseason schedule just four days later in Charlotte against the Panthers, Thursday, Aug. 29 at 7:30 p.m.

With the Steelers opening their preseason Aug. 9, that means their training camp at Saint Vincent College should open sometime around July 26.
