Montana DuRapau – INDIANAPOLIS INDIANS

Montana DuRapau will get his first taste of the major leagues five years after being the Pirates' 32nd-round draft pick five years ago.

The Pirates selected DuRapau's contract from Triple-A Indianapolis and he will join the team Thursday night for the start of a four-game series against the Cardinals at St. Louis that also opens an 11-game road trip.

The 27-year-old DuRapau takes the roster spot of Keone Kela, who was placed on the 10-day injured list Wednesday -- retroactive to May 6 -- with right shoulder inflammation.

DuRapau has shown well at Triple-A Indianapolis this season with a 0.63 ERA and 0.69 WHIP across 14 1/3 innings and 12 games. He also has 18 strikeouts.
