Marc-Andre Fleury took sole possession of seventh place on the NHL's all-time wins list with a 2-1 shootout win over the Blackhawks on Tuesday.

The win was Fleury's 446th career regular season win, surpassing Terry Sawchuk's record of 445 wins. Fleury previously tied Sawchuk's mark with his shutout of the Penguins on Saturday, a milestone he wasn't aware he was closing in on at the time.

"I didn't know, actually," Fleury said in Pittsburgh. "Good, good. I don't know. I don't really like to chase the numbers, I think it's just about getting the win, getting two points. That's what matters."

Tuesday's win was Fleury's seventh of the season, the most in the league.

Fleury is closing the gap on Henrik Lundqvist, who currently has 450 career wins, for sixth all-time. Lundqvist has just one win in four games this season. Fleury (and Lundqvist) will almost certainly pass Curtis Joseph in wins this season, who currently ranks No. 5 of all-time with 454.
