FORWARDS

Judd Caulfield

Drafted: 2019, fifth round

Team: North Dakota (NCAA)

Season totals: 2 games, 1 assist

Caulfield has played in just two games so far for North Dakota in his freshman year, playing both games on the fourth line.

His first collegiate point was this impressive move, knocking a pass out of the air and driving to the net to pick up an assist:

Liam Gorman

Position: Center

Size: 6-3/196

Drafted: 2018, sixth round

Team: Princeton (NCAA)

Season totals: None

Over the summer Gorman decommitted from Boston University and enrolled at Princeton for his freshman year.

Gorman has yet to play this season.

Filip Hallander

Position: Center/Wing

Size: 6-1/190

Drafted: 2018, second round

Team: Lulea HF (SHL)

Season totals: 2 games, 1 assist

Hallander fractured his leg in his second game of the season and is expected to be out until at least Christmas.

Nathan Legare

Position: Right wing

Size: 6-0/205

Drafted: 2019, third round

Team: Baie-Comeau Drakkar (QMJHL)

Season totals: 11 games, 6 goals, 6 assists

Legare is the leading scorer for the struggling Drakkar, which rank next-to-last in the QMJHL's Eastern Conference.

Legare will be playing for Team QMJHL in the upcoming Canada-Russia series.

Linus Olund

Position: Center

Size: 5-11/183

Drafted: 2017, fifth round

Team: Brynas IF (SHL)

Season totals: 8 games, 1 goal, 2 assists

Olund is back in Sweden this season on loan to Brynas after playing in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton last season.

Olund scored his first goal of the season after returning from a concussion:

Nikita Pavlychev

Position: Center

Size: 6-8/225

Drafted: 2015, seventh round

Team: Penn State (NCAA)

Season totals: 2 games, 1 goal

Pavlychev is in his final year at Penn State and is centering the fourth line.

His first point of the season was a power play tally in a 7-0 win over Alaska.

Samuel Poulin

Position: Wing

Size: 6-1/207

Drafted: 2019, first round

Team: Sherbrooke Phoenix (QMJHL)

Season totals: 11 games, 9 goals, 13 assists

Poulin is off to an incredible two-points-per-game pace after his eight-point night this week.

Poulin will be playing for Team QMJHL in the upcoming Canada-Russia series.

Valtteri Puustinen

Position: Wing

Size: 5-9/183

Drafted: 2019, seventh round

Team: HPK (Liiga)

Season totals: 14 games, 5 goals, 7 assists

Puustinen is off to a strong start, a point shy of being HPK's team-leading scorer.

DEFENSEMEN

Calen Addison

Size: 5-10/180

Drafted: 2018, second round

Team: Lethbridge Hurricanes (WHL)

Season totals: 12 games, 3 goals, 6 assists

Addison has played on all three defense pairings for Lethbridge, and has been playing on both the left and right side, as he did last season.

Addison will be playing for Team WHL in the upcoming Canada-Russia series.

Santeri Airola

Size: 5-11/165

Drafted: 2019, seventh round

Team: SaiPa (Liiga)

Season totals: 2 games

After playing primarily in Finnish juniors last season, Airola's plan this season was to move to the second-tier professional Mestis league and play for Kettera.

Airola hasn't played for Kettera at all this season, and is instead being loaned to SaiPa of the top men's league. He's been injured since September and is projected to return to the lineup in about a week. When he was healthy, he was playing on the right side of SaiPa's third pairing.

Ryan Jones

Size: 6-2/186

Drafted: 2016, fourth round

Team: Nebraska-Omaha (NCAA)

Season totals: 4 games, 2 goals, 2 assists

Just four games into the season, Jones has already matches his goal total from his first three collegiate seasons combined, and is a third of the way to his point total from last season.

Not a bad way to kick off his senior year.

Antti Palojarvi

Size: 6-1/172

Drafted: 2017, sixth round

Team: Lukko (Liiga), Lukko U20 (Jr. A SM-liiga)

Season totals: 5 games with Lukko; 11 games, 2 assists Lukko U20

Palojarvi still isn't a regular in the top Finnish men's league. He was with the main Lukko team in September, playing on the left side of the third defense pairing, but has been playing for the junior team this month.

He spent last season with both Lukko's main and U20 teams, as well as a second-tier Mestis team.

Clayton Phillips

Size: 5-11/183

Drafted: 2017, third round

Team: Penn State (NCAA)

Season totals: 4 games, 2 assists

Phillips transferred from Minnesota to Penn State for his junior season, and is playing on the Nittany Lions' second pairing.

The Daily Collegian put together a feature on Phillips on this week.

“I think it’s going to be a great fit,” he said. “[They like] to play really fast here, and I think that playing fast is one of my bigger assets of my game.”

William Reilly

Size: 6-2/196

Drafted: 2017, seventh round

Team: Rensselaer Polytech (NCAA)

Season totals: 4 games, 1 goal, 3 assists

Reilly is in his senior collegiate season.

Four games into RPI's season, Reilly ranks No. 1 in team scoring.
