THE SETUP

The Penguins, coming off three consecutive losses, will face the Stars for the second time in little more than a week. They beat Dallas, 4-2, at PPG Paints Arena last Friday. The Penguins have lost the first two games of this road trip after winning their first two away games this season. The Stars, meanwhile, have won three games in a row since losing to the Penguins, including a 2-1 victory against Anaheim Thursday. They are 2-2-1 at American Airlines Arena.

The Penguins are scheduled to hold a game-day skate at 12:30 p.m. Eastern, although it's possible that it will be cancelled or made optional. The Stars' game-day skate is scheduled to begin at 11:30 a.m Eastern, but also is a candidate to be made optional.
