Mason Rudolph wasn't loving life in Cincinnati. Through two quarters and a series in the third, Rudolph went 8 for 16 for 85 yards and an interception, looking flustered and missing passes throughout.
Enter Devlin Hodges.

That's Hodges to James Washington for 79 yards and the score. That's also one nasty stiff arm from Washington to cap it all off.
After hitting Jaylen Samuels for 11 yards on his first pass of the day, Hodges uncorked that, giving him 90 yards on the day and moving him past Rudolph in two flicks of the wrist.
I can't say for certain Mike Tomlin and company monitor my Twitter feed, but I can say this:

Devlin Hodges is a ?

Devlin Hodges is better than Mason Rudolph. Mike Tomlin's unwillingness to see that is going to cost the Steelers a wild card berth.

Devlin Hodges looks so much more confident in the pocket.

Is Hodges the answer for the Steelers moving forward? Time will tell. But there's no doubt he's looked more comfortable than Rudolph under center when given the chance this year.
