CRANBERRY, Pa. -- It's the first day of a new year and a new decade.

So, I went around the Penguins' locker room and asked a few players if they had any New Year's resolutions.

What did we learn? Most guys don't really like New Year's resolutions. But some guys had some good answers anyway. Here they are:

Zach Aston-Reese: "No. New year, same me."

Kevin Czuczman: "I'm going to cut down on the coffee, how about that? Maybe more green tea."

Jack Johnson: "I didn't come up with anything [laughs]. I'm a bad one to ask."

Bryan Rust: "I'm not very good with keeping in touch with old friends. Calling old people a little more often, checking in with old friends more often, I could be better with that."

Teddy Blueger: "I haven't really thought about that."

Matt Murray: "Eat a little bit healthier, take better care of my body. More like self care, I guess you could say. Nothing crazy, mostly the cliche stuff."

Tristan Jarry: "Hmm ... I haven't even thought about it."

Alex Galchenyuk: "I haven't thought about it yet. [laughs] I'm sure a lot of people have them but we won't be talking about them into microphones."

Joseph Blandisi: "I do, but I don't want anyone to know what it is. It's just for me."

Marcus Pettersson: "I've never really had any, anytime. Maybe I'll think about it today and come up with something."

Jared McCann: "Not really."

Dominik Simon: "I never really do that too much. But I'm going to think about it today for sure and see."

John Marino: "Oh, I don't really do those."

Dominik Kahun: "Just be healthy, that's the most important thing. Health. Just be healthy, that's it."
