The NHL and NHLPA reached a tentative agreement on Monday on the details for a plan to restart the NHL season and a four-year extension to the collective bargaining agreement.
The next step is for the NHL's Board of Governors, NHLPA executive board, and NHLPA members to ratify the agreement through votes.
If ratified, the CBA will run through 2025-26.
The NHL an NHLPA have set the following dates as part of the tentative agreement:
July 13 – Start of formal training camps
July 26 – Clubs travel to hub cities
August 1 – Start of Qualifying Round.
