Four touchdowns will usually put you in the running for offensive player of the month honors.

But Steelers rookie wide receiver Chase Claypool will have to settle for AFC Offensive Player of the Week for now.

Claypool won that honor Wednesday morning for his 7-catch, 110-yard receiving effort that saw him score three times through the air and once on a run in a 38-29 win by the Steelers last Sunday against the Eagles.

Claypool joins Ben Roethlisberger and JuJu Smith-Schuster as the only Steelers rookies to win the award.

For the season, the second-round pick out of Notre Dame has recorded 13 catches for a team-high 261 yards and five touchdowns as the Steelers are off to their first 4-0 start since 1979.
