Penguins prospect Samuel Poulin is one of 46 players invited to Canada's selection camp for the World Junior Championship.
Poulin, the Penguins' first-round draft choice in 2019, is a 6-foot-2, 213-pound left winger who plays for Sherbrooke in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.
He is expect to attend the Penguins' training camp that will precede the 2020-21 season, but appears to be a long shot to earn a spot on the major-league roster then.
Poulin, 19, is one of 26 forwards scheduled to participate in Canada's camp.
The tournament will be held Dec. 25-Jan. 5 in Edmonton, with a "bubble" setup similar to that used during the Stanley Cup playoffs.
