The COVID-19 issue with the Ravens goes beyond cornerback Marlon Humphrey.
According to NFL transactions, the team placed seven defensive players on the Reserve/COVID List Tuesday night, as linebackers Patrick Queen, L.J. Fort, Tyus Bowser, Malik Harrison and Matthew Judon, along with defensive backs Terrell Bonds and DeShone Elliott, were added to the list.
The additional players were added because contract-tracing showed they had come in close contact with Humphrey, who tested positive for COVID-19 Monday morning after playing in Sunday's 28-24 win by the Steelers in Baltimore.
The Steelers have not yet had a player test positive, but are in the league's intensive protocols because a number of players had close contact with Humphrey. Chief among those would be receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster, who Humphrey covered most of the game out of the slot.
The seven players placed on the Reserve/COVID-19 list Tuesday night will have to isolate away from the Ravens' facility and test negative for coronavirus for five consecutive days before they would be allowed to participate in Baltimore's game Sunday against the Colts.
That game is in Indianapolis, meaning the players essentially would have to test negative for the final time on Saturday before being permitted on the team flight.
